Analysis on the current situation of diagnosis of brucellosis cases in Xilingol League from 2016 to 2020
Abstract
Abstract
This study analyzes the diagnostic status of brucellosis cases in Xilingol League between 2016 and 2020. Utilizing surveillance data collected from local health institutions, the research evaluates trends in case detection, diagnostic methods employed, and the timeliness of diagnosis. Results indicate an overall increase in reported brucellosis cases during the study period, with notable seasonal and regional variations. Serological tests remained the primary diagnostic tool, though limitations in early and accurate diagnosis were identified. Delays in diagnosis and underreporting contributed to challenges in effective disease control. The study underscores the need for enhanced diagnostic capacity, including training for healthcare personnel and adoption of advanced diagnostic techniques, to improve early detection and management of brucellosis in Xilingol League. Recommendations aim to support public health efforts in reducing the disease burden in the region.
