Application of artificial intelligence imaging diagnostic system in active screening of pulmonary tuberculosis in the aged
Abstract
Abstract
This study explores the application of an artificial intelligence (AI) imaging diagnostic system in the active screening of pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) among elderly populations. By analyzing chest X-ray images with AI algorithms, the system aims to improve the accuracy and efficiency of TB detection compared to traditional methods. The study involved screening a cohort of aged individuals using the AI system, with results validated against clinical and laboratory diagnoses. Findings demonstrate that the AI system significantly enhances early identification of pulmonary TB cases, reduces diagnostic workload, and facilitates timely treatment initiation. The integration of AI diagnostic tools in community screening programs for the elderly offers a promising approach to controlling TB in high-risk populations and improving public health outcomes.
