Abstract

Abstract
This study investigates the level of environmental health literacy among residents of Xining City and identifies factors influencing their literacy through logistic regression analysis. A cross-sectional survey was conducted using structured questionnaires covering knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to environmental health. The results indicate that the overall environmental health literacy among residents is moderate, with significant disparities based on age, education, income, and occupation. Logistic analysis reveals that higher education levels, younger age groups, and better socioeconomic status are positively associated with higher environmental health literacy. The findings highlight the need for targeted educational interventions and policy measures to improve public awareness and promote healthier environmental practices in Xining City. This study provides valuable insights for local health authorities to design effective environmental health promotion strategies.
