Etiologic characteristics, drug resistance and risk factors with skin infectious diseases
Abstract
Abstract
This study explores the etiologic characteristics, drug resistance patterns, and associated risk factors of skin infectious diseases. Clinical specimens from patients with various skin infections were collected and analyzed to identify the causative pathogens through microbiological and molecular methods. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing was performed to evaluate drug resistance profiles. Additionally, patient demographic data and behavioral factors were assessed to identify potential risk factors contributing to infection and resistance development. Results indicate a diverse spectrum of bacterial and fungal pathogens, with increasing resistance to commonly used antibiotics. Key risk factors identified include improper wound care, underlying chronic diseases, and environmental exposures. The findings underscore the need for rational antibiotic use, enhanced infection control practices, and targeted education to reduce the incidence and resistance of skin infectious diseases.
