Abstract

Abstract
This study presents a method for the determination of carbofuran residues in fruit samples using dispersive solid-phase extraction (DSPE) combined with high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Fruit samples were subjected to DSPE for effective extraction and purification of carbofuran residues, followed by quantitative analysis using HPLC with UV detection. The method demonstrated high sensitivity, good linearity, and satisfactory recovery rates, with limits of detection suitable for monitoring carbofuran residues at trace levels. The optimized procedure proved to be rapid, efficient, and reliable for routine pesticide residue analysis in fruits. This approach provides a valuable tool for ensuring food safety and compliance with regulatory standards regarding pesticide residues.
