Abstract
Abstract
This study analyzes the monitoring results of chemical pollutants in food samples collected in Mianyang City from 2018 to 2021. Various categories of food products were tested for common chemical contaminants including pesticide residues, heavy metals, and food additives. The findings indicate that the majority of food samples met national safety standards, though sporadic exceedances of certain pesticides and heavy metals were detected. Temporal trends suggest improvements in pollutant control over the study period, but continuous vigilance remains necessary. Risk assessment highlights vulnerable food categories requiring stricter supervision. The study emphasizes the importance of sustained monitoring and regulatory enforcement to ensure food safety and protect public health in Mianyang City.
